Vishal Tate is a young and talented kabaddi player from Maharashtra who plays as a right raider for Haryana Steelers. Born in 2004 in Nanded, Marathwada region, the 21-year-old raider has been part of the Steelers squad since Season 10 (2023).
Standing 5’9″ tall, Vishal Tate started his kabaddi journey at the age of 15 when his family moved to Pune, where he first saw kids playing the sport and was encouraged to try it. He made an impressive PKL debut against U Mumba in Season 10, scoring 15 raid points in a single match and becoming the “Raider of the Day”.
In PKL season 11, he played 13 matches and scored 43 points with an excellent 56% raid strike rate. Vishal looks up to kabaddi star Aakash Shinde as his role model and dreams of representing India at the international level.
