Telugu Titans and their long wait for win

Telugu Titans the Hyderabad-based franchise in Pro Kabaddi League is struggling to find a spot in the league's current season. After playing 13 matches so far, the team could win only one match and 2 ended up in tie. Telugu Titans are now at bottom of the points table.

The captain Rohit Kumar, a Services player, couldn't lead the team to any significant position so far in the tournament. Among the 13 matches the team played, Rohit Kumar played only in 6 matches and could grab only 5 raid points in this season so far.

The lead raider Sidharth Sirish Desai aka Bahubali Desai too disappointed the fans. Sidharth could only play 3 games so far. But he performed well in those 3 matches and scored 34 raid points. His absence is troubling the team a lot.

Telugu Titans were at 11th position in the last season. This season also doesn't look well for them, they are at bottom of the points table with 1 win and 2 ties from 13 matches.

As we all know, this PKL season has the most number of tied matches in the PKL history ever - 14 ties so far. Telugu Titans started the tie-mania of the season along with Tamil Talaivas on the first day of the season itself. Both teams scored 40 points each but the match ended up in a tie.

Telugu Titans had to wait till their 11th match to mark their first win in the season, in which they defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers by just 1 point. This win was the only match that gave Titans fans a relief. But the team couldn't carry forward it as they again lost the next game.

As per the current position of Telugu Titans, it is unlikely that they will qualify for this season also. Telugu fans will have to wait for another season with hopes that the team will lift the cup.
