Yuva Kabaddi Series Inter District Youth League 2024: Ahmednagar District Defeated Palghar District 41-17
The Yuva Kabaddi Series Inter District Youth League 2024 is finally over. The defending champion reigns supreme in the thrilling final battle between Ahmednagar District and Palghar District. The exciting encounter took place at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune.
Ahmednagar emerged victorious with a dominant score of 41-17, showcasing their exceptional teamwork and raiding skills.
The Ahmednagar team displayed a well-coordinated strategy throughout the match. Their raiders, particularly Puneri Paltan's Aditya Shinde was unstoppable. Shinde scored an impressive 12 points, interestingly his all points were a touch-point. He didn't score any bonus points or any Super Raid. His aggressive raiding put immense pressure on Palghar's defence.
Haryana Steelers' star raider Shivam Patare scored 5 points in the final match against Palghar. Whereas Prafull Zaware, the Telugu Titans raider, who didn't have a great season in PKL, scored 4 crucial raid points for his team Ahmednagar.
Ahmednagar's offence was truly dominant. But their defence was also unmatchable. Saurav Maid, Sanket Khalate, Somnath Bedke, and Abhishek Pawar did great in tackling and defending, effectively thwarting Palghar's attacks.
Despite facing a strong opponent, the Palghar District team displayed a respectable fighting spirit. Harsh Meher emerged as their top raider, scoring only 4 points. Pratik Jadhav (3 points), Piyush Patil (2 points), and Prem Mandal (1 point) also contributed valuable raid points. Jeet Patil's successful tackle provided a crucial defensive moment for Palghar.
