Yuva Kabaddi Series set for dazzling return with power packed Monsoon edition in 2023

Probably India's best Youth level Kabaddi tournament, the Yuva Kabaddi Series is all set to return with yet another power packed Monsoon Edition starting from September 24. YKS is an unique tournament that doesn't keep its fans waiting for too long to return.

Its an year round tournament that takes place at least 4 times in 12 months and provides a very good platform to countless Young kabaddi players who have the fire and immense potential within them.

 

YKS have mapped out their 4 editions very smartly according to the "weather conditions" with Monsoon Edition being the 3rd in 2023. There are a lot of benefits of having an year long tournament as it helps in grooming untapped talents and getting the best out of those players.

The Monsoon Edition is set to return with a similar intent. Following the successful conclusion of the year's Summer edition with Palani Tuskers ending up as the ultimate winners.

What is Special about YKS Monsoon Edition?

Unlike the previous edition that took place at the City of Mysore saw players from 9 states namely, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Puducherry, Karnataka, Chattisgarh, Manipur, Assam, Tripura and Jharkhand grace the league. However, this time around the number of teams has been increased to 16.

 

That means we will be seeing more matches and a bigger player pool containing fresh, exciting and unseen talents. Madurai, regarded as the City of Temples at Tamil Nadu will host the Monsoon edition from September 24 to 22 October.

Timings of Matches : 5 matches would be conducted everyday, with the first match being played at 10:00 AM IST, followed by 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM and the final match of the day at 8:00 PM.

Prize Money : The team which would go all the way would be winning a prize money of 20 lakh rupees, with the 1st and 2nd runner up also winning 10 lakhs and 5 lakhs respectively.

Challenger Round: 24th September to 28th September 2023: Match timings: 10AM, 11.15 AM, 12.30PM, 4 PM, 5.15 PM, 6.30PM, 7.45PM

Promotion Round, Relegation Round: 29th September to 8th October 2023, Match timings: 10AM, 11.15AM, 12.30PM, 4PM, 5.15PM and 6.30PM

Survival Round: 9th October to 15th October 2023, 10AM, 11.15AM, 12.30AM, 4PM, 5.15PM 

Booster Round: 11th October to 13th October 2023, Match timings: 6PM - Summit Round 16th October to 22nd October 2023
