Inspired by fans Puneri Paltan release their new identity and logo

Puneri Paltan today released their new identity and logo on their social media handles.

The new identity is an ode to Maharashtra’s rich culture. The logo takes inspiration from the Rajmudra – symbol of Swarajya, which represents the glory of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who vowed for the well-being of his people. The emblem is a lion, that represents the royalty of the king of the jungle.

The prominence of the Tilak (Chandrakor) is a symbol of blessings bestowed upon warriors and the overarching saffron colour is a way of paying homage to Maharashtra’s heritage. It is a statement that states that Puneri Paltan is here to rule the world of Kabaddi.
