Pirates hunt down the Bengal tigers, last day of the home leg Patna Pirates gave fans a reason to rejoice

No Pardeep Narwal on the mat but Bengal Warriors missed the absence of Maninder Singh, while Patna defense looked orgainsed and scored 10 tackle points Jaideep with the strike rate of 75% was brilliant, the all-out inflicted by Patna Pirates in the 11th minute made the difference and Surjeet failed to impress.

Deepak Narwal started the raid and came back empty hand while Jang Kun Lee scored a bonus in the 1st raid. Patna was trailing by 4 points till the 5th minute, it was Tushar Patil who came as substitute and scored first point for Patna Pirates. Jaideep showed his might in the 6th minute and sent Mahesh Goud on the mat and in the 8th minute first time score was equal 4-4, and Patna took 1 point lead in the 9th minute and inflicted the first all-out in the 11th minute and at stroke of half time score was 15-12, with Patna in lead.

In the absence of Maninder Singh, Mahesh Goud tried to gets points with Ran Singh's support as 2nd raider, but it was Patna Pirates organized defense which made the Warriors raiders silent. Last 3 minutes were close and in the 38th minute Vikas Jaglan who came as substitute steeped out when Mahesh Goud was on raid and score was equal 25-25, but moment of the match was ankle hold by Kuldeep in the last minute when Mahesh was on raid, and Patna Pirates managed to close the home leg on a happy note, 29-27.
