Prokabaddi Season 6, Match 20, Haryana Steelers Vs. U Mumba, Player of the Day – Siddharth Desai (15 points)

Siddharth Desai’s excellent show in his debut Pro Kabaddi League season continued as the lanky raider blazed through the Haryana Steelers defence unit to collect 15 points, including a massive six-point raid in a crunch situation as U Mumba inflicted a 32-42 loss on the Steelers in the latter’s last home game.

Desai began proceedings with a bonus point and did not look back from that point as he kept the Steelers defenders on their toes, often luring false tackles from the likes of Sunil and Sachin Shingade, who were below par in the corner and cover positions.

Desai’s ‘Super 10’ against the Steelers was his third this season and the youngster has taken his game up a notch, which has helped U Mumba register a hat-trick of victories from their last three encounters.
