Maninder Singh Early Life and Domestic Career:

Maninder Singh is born on 31st January 1990 in Dasuriya Punjab also referred as “Mighty Mani” his nickname little had an idea that he would go on to become one of the most faces in Kabaddi.

He came from the humble background with his grit, determination, agility and discipline on the mat he became one of the most successful stars in PKL.

Initially he started playing Circle Kabaddi, in his village before taking formal training at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Kabaddi Club where he learned the nuances of Kabaddi under watchful eyes of Hanumant SIngh and Paramjit who nurtured his talent .

If you look at his transition is brilliant it all started as he started excelling in Under 19 tournaments especially his records in school and college level have been terrific.

Doing well in Domestic tournaments gave him opportunity to make it to PKL Season 1 main event.

PKL Achievements:

He made his foray into Pro Kabaddi League Season 1 for Jaipur Pink Panthers and all that happened as he started excelling at domestic level in terms of scoring consistent points.

He capitalized those performances into Season 1, where he scored 137 raid points where he falls in the category of those raiders who have scored more than 100 points in the inaugural season.

He was also member of Jaipur Pink Panthers squad who won the title by beating U Mumba in the night of the final where he scored Super 10 and his individual performances was instrumental in making sure they beat Mumba on D day.

He was adjudged third highest raider of the season trailing behind Anup Kumar with 169 points and Rahul Chaudhari with 161 points.

In 2017, he made comeback in PKL with Bengal Warriors in 21 matches that season where they scored 190 raid points quickly elevated his status as lead raider.

In 2019, Maninder SIngh record milestone of reaching out more than 600 raid points in 68 matches in PKL, which is the feat achieved any raider as second fastest behind Pardeep Narwal.
