Naveen Kumar is born on 14th Feb 2000 in Sultanpur Haryana his father Sansar Goyat works a bus driver and he was introduced in the popular combat sport by his great grandfather.
He completed his education in Kurukshetra University and he started playing Kabaddi at a very young age, where he started excelling due to immense Kabaddi Skills.

In the year 2016, Naveen Kumar got selected for Haryana Team as State Level Warm Up matches, and he represented Sonipat team to play against Rajasthan Team.
He played his first Junior Championship in 2016, his cousin Jyoti Goyat is also Kabaddi player and currently part of Junior Indian Kabaddi team.
