Patna Pirates defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers 33–18 in the 108th match of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12, played at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Thursday. With this victory, Patna secured 7th place in the points table and earned a playoff spot.

This was Patna’s fifth consecutive win, sealing their place in the playoffs. Patna has now registered eight wins in 18 matches, while Jaipur suffered their 10th defeat in as many games. Patna’s star raider Ayan once again delivered a Super 10 performance. With this result, the league stage of Season 12 has officially concluded. The playoffs will begin on October 25, and the final will be played on October 31.

Jaipur had a strong start, taking a 4–0 lead within the first three minutes, but Patna soon reduced the margin to 3–5. Ayan was tackled twice early on, and by the 10-minute mark, Jaipur led 8–5. After the break, Jaipur’s defense tackled Ayan again, but Patna earned a Super Tackle to stay in the contest.

Patna’s momentum grew with two Super Tackle points. Ankit scored during a do-or-die raid by catching Sahil, while Navdeep, in another do-or-die raid, tackled Ritik to level the score. Mohit’s tackle on Ankit pushed Jaipur ahead again, but Patna’s successful raid on Meetu tied the game before taking the lead.

Jaipur then executed a Super Tackle, and Radu’s two-point raid helped them regain a 12–11 lead. Ayan was revived but was tackled for the fourth time, giving Jaipur a 13–11 advantage at halftime. After the break, Patna dominated, scoring four points to Jaipur’s one to level it at 14–14. Ayan finally opened his account, and by the 30th minute, the score stood 16–16.

Soon after, Ayan’s raid made it 17–16 and pushed Jaipur into a Super Tackle situation. Patna capitalized, inflicting an All-Out to go up 22–16. From there, Patna maintained complete control, extending their lead to eight points. With just two minutes left, Jaipur faced another Super Tackle situation.

Ayan returned for a crucial raid, used a running hand touch, and pushed Jaipur towards another All-Out, which he successfully completed — sealing a commanding win for Patna Pirates and confirming their playoff berth.
