UP then gained the lead through strong defensive plays, but Mumba hit back with a Super Tackle. Rinku tackled Guman to make it 7–6 in Mumba’s favor, and followed it up with another Super Tackle on Gill, extending the lead to 11–7.

UP responded well, earning two points on a Do-or-Die raid to stay in the contest. Mumba again had a Super Tackle on, and Shivam dismissed Vijay, but UP roared back with an All-Out, leveling the score at 14–14. UP then edged ahead 16–15, but Mumba equalized again 17–17 by halftime.

After the break, the teams were tied 19–19 five minutes into the second half, before UP gained a 21–19 lead. Shivam once again dismissed Sunil, and Mumba were reduced to just two players on the mat. UP capitalized with another All-Out, stretching their advantage to 27–20.

Mumba tried to fight back, scoring three quick points to make it 23–27 by the 30th minute, but UP responded with a two-point Do-or-Die raid, extending the lead to 33–26.

Mumba reduced the gap to five points in the closing minutes, and with two minutes remaining, they put UP under a Super Tackle situation. In the final minute, Mumba trailed 31–34, but Bhawani scored to make it 35–31. Ajit added a bonus point, narrowing the deficit to three, but Mumba couldn’t close the gap and fell short, losing a crucial encounter 32–35.

With this result, UP Yoddhas stay in the hunt for a playoff spot, while U Mumba’s hopes of a Top-4 finish are officially over.
