Puneri Paltan Defeats Jaipur Pink Panthers to Secure Top-2 Spot in PKL 12

Puneri Paltan defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers by a massive margin of 57-33 in the 86th match of the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), played at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Wednesday, securing their place in the top-2 of the points table. This loss, however, has increased Jaipur’s struggles.
Paltan played like champions, with contributions from all players under the leadership of Pankaj Mohite, who scored 9 points. In defense, Gaurav Khatri contributed 7 points. For Jaipur, Ali Samadhi delivered an impressive Super-10, supported well by Vinay (8 points), but their efforts were not enough to secure a win for the team.
Thanks to excellent play from Aslam and Pankaj, along with a strong defensive performance, Paltan achieved an all-out against Jaipur within three minutes, taking a 9-2 lead. Even after the all-out, Paltan maintained their dominance, extending their lead to 11 points. Jaipur did manage to score two consecutive points, briefly raising hopes of a comeback, but conceding two more points ended that possibility. Jaipur then scored four consecutive points, putting Paltan in a super tackle situation.

Meanwhile, Samadhi limited Paltan to just two players. In the next raid, he cleared Paltan’s players, bringing the score to 13-17. After another all-in, Paltan regained momentum and led 20-14. During this period, Aditya tackled Aryan to create a super tackle for Jaipur. Later, Abinesh caught Sahil, limiting Jaipur to two players, but the super tackle attempt failed. At halftime, Paltan led 23-17.

After halftime, Paltan achieved a second all-out against Jaipur within three minutes, taking a 28-20 lead. They continued to dominate, putting Jaipur in a super tackle situation again. On Pankaj’s raid, Aryan went out via self-out. Pankaj then got Reza out and, after another all-out, extended the lead to 38-24.
While this lead was enough to secure the win, Jaipur kept trying to fight back and attempted to push Paltan towards an all-out, but failed. Paltan achieved a third all-out, handing Jaipur their eighth loss in 14 matches. Paltan earned their 13th win in 16 matches, with Vaibhav scoring a High-5 in his very first match.
