Saurabh Nandal is born on 17th December 1999 in Rohtak Haryana in an agricultural family, where he developed interest in Kabaddi while balancing his farm duties, his robust agricultural background helped him to develop his upper body strength, discipline and agility on the mat.

He started playing Kabaddi in his village only with local boys and his younger brother Rohit also started playing this sport taking inspiration from him.

He pursued his higher education in Maharasi Dayanand University, where he further developed his Kabaddi skills by competing in the University level.
