U Mumba is one of the oldest and most successful teams in Pro Kabaddi League history. Based in Mumbai, they won their first PKL title in Season 2 (2015). U Mumba in PKL Season 1 (2014)
Season 1 was the first year of Pro Kabaddi League in 2014. U Mumba became the runners-up in the inaugural season. They played 14 matches in the league stage and earned 54 points with 8 wins, 3 losses, and 3 ties.

Season 2 was a great year for U Mumba. They came back stronger after losing the first final. U Mumba topped the league stage with 60 points. They won 12 matches, lost just 2, and had no ties from 14 matches.

U Mumba in PKL Season 3 (2016 – January)

Season 4 took place in June-July 2016. U Mumba finished in fifth place with 42 points from 14 matches. They won 7 matches, lost 6, and had 1 tie.
U Mumba couldn’t reached the semi-finals and could not proceed further. Pardeep Narwal from Patna Pirates proved too strong, scoring 18 points in a match against U Mumba. The team relied on their defensive strength but could not win the title.
U Mumba in PKL Season 5 (2017)
Season 5 in 2017 saw four new teams join the league, making it 12 teams. U Mumba finished in fourth place with 54 points from 22 matches. They won 10 games, lost 12, and tied 0 matches.
This was a tougher season for U Mumba as they faced a larger number of teams. Kashiling Adake was one of their star raiders in this season. In one match, Adake scored 17 points against Bengaluru Bulls. However, U Mumba could not make the playoffs this season.
U Mumba in PKL Season 6 (2018-19)
Season 6 was played in 2018-19. U Mumba finished in fourth place with 86 points from 22 matches. They won 15 games, lost 5, and tied 2 matches.
This was a difficult season for U Mumba. They failed to reach the playoffs. Fazel Atrachali was one of their key defenders during this season. He provided rock-solid defense and helped U Mumba win several important matches.

U Mumba in PKL Season 9 (2022)
Season 9 in 2022 was difficult for U Mumba. They finished in ninth place with 56 points from 22 matches. They won 10 games, lost 12, and tied 0 matches.

U Mumba’s star raider this season was Ajit Chouhan. He scored 186 raid points in 23 matches, averaging 8.04 points per match. In their best performance, U Mumba beat Tamil Thalaivas 47-31.
U Mumba qualified for the playoffs. However, they lost to Patna Pirates 32-28 in their semi-final match. This loss ended their season.
U Mumba in PKL Season 12 (2025)
Season 12 is the current ongoing season in 2025. U Mumba finished sixth in the league stage with 10 wins and 8 losses from 18 matches. However, their season ended in the Play-In 2 match against Patna Pirates.
Ajit Chouhan remained their star raider and continued to score important points. U Mumba lost their final league match 35-32 against UP Yoddhas. This loss meant they had to play in the Play-In 2 match.
In the Play-In 2 match on October 24, 2025, U Mumba faced Patna Pirates. Patna Pirates defeated U Mumba 40-31. Ayan scored 14 points for Patna while Ajit Chouhan got 12 points for U Mumba.
