Dabang Delhi decimated Bengal Warriors, to faceoff UP Yoddha in eliminator 3

Dabang Delhi first time in the history of Prokabaddi qualified to playoffs, decimated Bengal Warriors in the eliminator 2 and now will take on UP Yoddha in the 3rd eliminator tomorrow. Dabang Delhi won the toss and choose court, Maninder Singh and Meraj Sheykh started with empty raids for their teams. Chandran Ranjit scored a bonus point in the 2nd minute while Maninder Singh scored the first point for the team in a do-or-die situation in the 3rd minute. Maninder Singh leveled the score in the 4th minute, 2-2. In the 7th minute Dabang Delhi once again took the lead and were leading by 2 points.

In the first half turning point of the game was Ravindra Kumawat's 3 points super raid in the 10 minute. Bengal Warriors took 2 points lead, they were able to hold the lead till the 16th minute. Chandran Ranjit's 2 points raid in the 16th minute brought Dabang Delhi back and in the 17th minute a brilliant super tackle led by Vishal leveled the score to 12-12. In the 19th minute Dabang Delhi were left with 3 men on  the mat and brilliant block by Surjeet Singh sent Meraj Sheykh on the bench and on the next raid Ran Singh on do-or-die raid scored 2 points and inflicted the all-out. Bengal Warriors walked into the halftime with 4 points cushion, 17-13. 

In the second half Bengal Warriors were able to hold the lead in the first 4 minutes. Dabang Delhi defense and attack both looked organized and Naveen scored 11 points in the 14 raid attempts and 7 points were in the second half. He was ably supported by Chandran Ranjit who scored 8 points in the 15 raid attempts. In the attack Ravindra Pahal was brilliant in the second have and scored 4 tackle points in the 7 tackle attempts he was ably supported by the captain Joginder Narwal with his 3 points. Vishal Mane and Vshal also scored 2 each crucial tackle points.

Naveen's 2 points raid was the turning point of the game in the 26th minute, Dabang Delhi narrowed the lead to 1 point and in the 29th minute a successful do-or-die raid by Naveen brought Dabang Delhi in lead and they successfully hold the lead till the end. Dabang Delhi inflicted the 1st all-out in the 30th minute and took 4 points lead, 24-20. Naveen was on fire and defense was supporting him, it just took 3 minutes to inflict the 2nd all-out in the 33rd minute and lead increased to 10, with 33-23 score on the board.

Bengal Warriors dependence on Maninder Singh cost them and defense failed as they could just score 6 tackle points against Dabang Delhi's 11. Maninder Singh scored 8 raid points in his 17 raid attempts, while Ravindra Ramesh Kumawat could support him with just 5 points in 8 raid attempts. At the end with 39-28 final score on the board it was a comfortable win to Dabang Delhi and they marched to the 3rd eliminator, which they will play against UP Yoddha.
