Dabang Delhi ended the unbeaten streak of Gujarat Fortunegiants, 29-26

In a hard fought encounter, Dabang Delhi turned out to be the first team to defeat Gurjarat Fortunegiants at their home to end 9 games unbeaten streak. It was a great contest between both the teams. First point on board for both the team was by defenders, as Sachin was sent on the bench by Joginder and Naveen by Sachin Vithhala in their first raid.

Throughout the game it was a close contest between the team, in the 6th minute first time score was equal 5 each, and in the 7th minute Dabang Delhi were on 2 points lead. Super tackle by Parwesh in the 10th minute sent Meraj Sheykh on the bench and once again score was equal on 7 each. At the stroke of half time Dabang Delhi were trailing by 2 points, 13-11.

In the second half Gujarat Fortunegiants continue their momentum with slender lead of 1 point, 2 points at time. In the 26th minute Meraj Sheykh 2 points raid helped the team to narrow the gap and his heroic performance in the 31st minute a 5 point super raid, turned out to be the turning point of the game. Dabang Delhi inflicted the 1st all-out and took 3 points lead, 23-20.

In the next 9 minutes Sachin and Meraj Sheykh kept the score board moving with their solitary points, and in the 39th minute once again score was equal to 26 each. Gujarat FOrtunegiants attack and defense failed to score a single point while, Naveen got a bonus in the last minute and Sachin was sent on the bench, courtesy tackle initiated by Naveen and ably supported by Joginder Narwal and Dabang Delhi became first team to defeat Gujarat Fortunegiants at their home, as the final score reads 29-26.
