Thane Municipal Corporation took on Bank of Baroda in the Women's Final of Thane Mayor Trophy 2020. In a closely fought battle the home team edged Bank of Baroda girls by 3 points, winning 31-28. The game was neck and neck with Bank of Baroda leading 17-16 at the end of first half. But the home team defense played a tight game managed to send Bank of Baroda into a quick all-out in the first minute of the 2nd half. 

Komal Deokar from TMC scored a Super-10; while the defense for the home team was well-managed by Tejaswi Patekar and Sharadha Pawar both scoring 3 tackle points each. For Bank of Baroda, Pooja Shelar was simple unstoppable - scoring 13 raid points and 2 tackle points. It was the defense that failed Bank of Baroda tonight. 

The winning team - Thane Municipal Corporation - won prize of Rs 1 Lakh; runners-up Bank of Baroda were awarded Rs 75 Lakhs
