Patna Qualifiers
Date: 27th and 28th March 2019
Venue: AN College Ground, Patna

Open to players between the ages of 17-21 and belonging to a club or college, Red Bull Tashan makes strategy a key component of the matches, which run half the duration of Pro Kabaddi League games. While in the latter, each half consists of 20 minutes, in this tournament, each half consists of only 10 minutes each, making the entire duration of the game 20 minutes.

On this initiative, Pawan S Rana CEO of Patna Pirates says,

“Kabaddi as a sport has witnessed tremendous growth and interest amongst the people in India, especially the youth. Tournaments like Red Bull Tashan help in encouraging and nurturing the young talents at the grassroots level. Patna Pirates and energy drink giant Red Bull share a common goal of improving the standards of Kabaddi in the country by scouting talent from the grassroots level and providing them exposure to showcase their talent. Patna Pirates is extremely delighted to associate with such an initiative and encourage emerging talent to train with the team at our home stadium during the seventh edition of Pro Kabaddi League.”
