Jaipur Pink Panthers' captain Deepak Niwas Hooda started off with a swift, successful raid dismissing Dabang Delhi K.C.'s Left Cover Saeid Ghaffari, following which he brought down the Delhi side's oncoming raider Chandran Ranjit to the mat in a brilliant all-rounder's display in the opening first minute. Soon after Deepak Narwal's empty raid, Dabang Delhi's leading raider, Naveen Kumar ousted Vishal with a superb Toe Touch.
Pink Panther's Deepak Narwal notched up 2 points in his Do or Die Raid, brilliantly dismissing Vijay and Vishal Mane, reaching the milestone of 50 successful Do or Die Raids in the process. Since the start, the match had turned out to be a fast-paced encounter between the two sides, with Pink Panthers leading 7-4 after eight minutes into the First Half.
Shortly afterwards, the Pink Panthers' defense did not seem to be cohesive enough as Dabang Delhi's Naveen Kumar further made things worse for them when he stole a point, reducing Pink Panthers to just 3 men on the mat. Captain Joginder Narwal brought down Nilesh Salunkhe, thereby inflicting the first All-Out of the match on the Pink Panthers propelling Dabang Delhi to a 5-point lead, at 15-10. Soon after, Saeid Ghaffari brought down Pink Panthers' captain Deepak Niwas Hooda, ending the First Half at 16-10 in favour of Dabang Delhi K.C.
Soon after the start of the Second Half, Chandran Ranjit and Deepak Narwal racked up a point each for their respective sides. Following that, Jaipur Pink Panthers' captain Deepak Niwas Hooda dismissed Dabang Delhi K.C.'s defensive trio of Vijay, Vishal Mane and Ravinder Pahal in a dazzling raid, reducing the opponent's lead to 2 points at 18-16 and registering the first Super Raid of the match.
Dabang Delhi's Naveen Kumar yet again reached his Super 10 when he dismissed Jaipur Pink Panther's top defensive duo of Sandeep Dhull and Amit Hooda in a brilliant raid. Shortly afterwards in the 7th minute, Chandran Ranjit amazed the audience when he executed a massive 4-point Super Raid on the Pink Panthers, inflicting a second All-Out on them and reaching his Super 10 in the process. Soon after, Pink Panthers' captain, Deepak Niwas Hooda dismissed Dabang's Saeid Ghaffari and captain Joginder Narwal to become the third player in the match to record a Super 10 and thereby going past the milestone of 750 Raid Points in Vivo Pro Kabaddi League.
Pink Panthers then took a review - a Super Raid by their captain, Deepak Niwas Hooda, which was deemed unsuccessful. 15 minutes into the Second Half, Dabang Delhi K.C. saw themselves nestled comfortably into a 10-point lead over Jaipur Pink Panthers, with the score reading at 31-21. A match that initially looked like a neck-to-neck encounter, now had gradually turned into more of a one-sided affair in the game.
The in-form Pink Panthers' defense failed to carry their momentum from the previous match, as Sandeep Dhull and Amit Hooda both failed to match their side's defensive display against their opponent's which proved to be superior to their's. Dabang Delhi K.C. put in a match-winning, all-round performance in the match which saw both - their raiding and defending departments firing well and ultimately, the 11-point lead was too much to overcome for Jaipur Pink Panthers as they succumbed to their first loss of the season, with the final score at 35-24.
