The first half of the match sang Yoddhas' glory. The raiders and defenders of UP, both looked in terrific touch considering this half. Especially Rishank Devadiga and Monu Goyat showed a terrific display of their game. Asymmetrical to this the defense and raiding parameter of Thailavas looked weak and shattered. Hence in the 10th-minute itself UP Yoddhas inflicted the first all out. Although, the late charge of star defender Manjeet Chhillar and 'The Showman' Rahul Chaudhari  kept their hopes alive by showing their skills and presence of mind for the game.

An exciting encounter goes down the line and ends in a draw.

The latter part of the match was full of zeal and delirium. Thalaivas started showcasing their natural game and momentum of the game started shifting towards them. During this half, Ajay Thakur and Rahul Chaudhari raised their game above the bar and started getting points for their team. Manjeet Chillar stood out to be the architect of defense for Thalaivas in this half. But it was not so late when Yoddhas started their counter-attack and were able to make 2 super tackles in a row. The vigilant moves from both sides increased the level of intensity. Thus summation of all this, made the game go down the wire.

Thereafter for the second time, the Pro Kabaddi league season 7  witnessed a draw, bearing a scoreline of 28-28.

Can Rahul Chaudhari keep Thalaivas winning streak alive against Yoddhas - 3 reasons why with Suhail Chandhok

1. Match up between the 8th and 9th placed team , and the winner will move into the middle third and stay in contention for the playoff spot.

2. The match will be defined by the contest between the Tamil defense and the UP raiding. Manjeet has had another fantastic start to the season by taking out the left raiders when in cover and standing responsibly in left corner when Ran Singh is on the bench. Can he dominate Shrikant Jadhav?

3. Neither of Yoddha's three raiders have fired till now. With Monu being the leader of the pack. Can one of them finally take off and help the Yoddhas to soar?

A fully split history with 2 wins a-piece and 2 ties to boot
