Match Preview: Winless at Home, Patna Pirates look to end the Home leg on a winning note

The home side Patna Pirates will be aiming to emerge victorious against UP Yoddha at the Patliputra Indoor Stadium on Friday. Patna Pirates entered the Home leg with 2 wins from their starting 3 matches, but have failed to rack up wins in front of their home crowd in the Patna-leg so far. Record-breaker Pardeep Narwal will be in focus leading his side's offense against an increasingly confident UP Yoddhas defense.

Pardeep notched up an impressive Super 10 in the previous match whereas defender Jaideep has registered 2 High 5s along with a 3.16 Tackle Points per game so far, becoming a rock-solid mainstay of the Pirates' defensive unit.

Meanwhile, after initial two heavy defeats, UP Yoddha have remained unbeaten in their previous 3 matches, growing confident in performance with every passing fixture. Their raiding department has been getting the crucial points led by the duo of Monu Goyat and Rishank Devadiga. The Yoddhas' defense has grown convincingly formidable with each match. Debutant Left Corner, Sumit has complemented  Right Cover and captain, Nitesh Kumar very well in the defense, collectively racking up 27 Tackle Points so far in this season. Despite the error that left UP Yoddha to concede a 1-point loss to Tamil Thalaivas in a tight encounter in their previous fixture, both - the offense and defense look in great form.

Pardeep Narwal will be having a tricky task on his hands when his side will take on this formidable UP Yoddha defense in tonight's fixture. With UP Yoddha looking to climb up the points table with a victory and Patna Pirates desperate to register a win in front of their Home Crowd, this match certainly seems to be a cracker of a climax game of the Patna-leg.
