Delhi reminds the Yoddhas of UP who the real Dabang is!

Dabang Delhi beat UP Yoddha 36-27 in the second game of PKL 7 on Sunday. The home crowd was exploding with energy and excitement to witness their Delhi team take on the Yoddhas at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex.

As the first half kicked off, the UP team rushed to a 4-0 lead in the early minutes as Monu Goyat impressed with his raids. But the home side clawed their way back, riding on Naveen Kumar's raiding abilities as his two-point raid in the 9th minute leveled the scores at 6 each. With two minutes remaining until half time, Delhi forced the first All-Out of the match on UP. The closely fought half ended with a score of 15-11 in favor of the home side.

Naveen's brilliance takes Delhi to the top of the points table.

The second period started with a bang. Both Naveen and Monu were having a great day but Delhi's defense proved to be slightly better than Yoddha's defense as Delhi drew up a commanding 7-point lead six minutes into the second half. From then on, there was no stopping for Delhi as they increased the lead to 11. With a few exchanges of points here and there, Dabang Delhi picked up an important 9-point victory that kept their 100% home win record intact and pushed them to the top of the Season 7 points table.

Youngster Naveen Kumar was once again the star for the home side with a Super 10 consisting of 16 points.

UP Yoddha started the match with the lead but Naveen Kumar got the match back to Dabang Delhi by giving two all out to UP Yoddhas.
