Puneri Paltan were always in the hunt to make a comeback but Tamil Thalaivas maintained the lead till the end and won by 5 points. It was Jasvir who started raiding from Tamil Thalaivas side and got Rinku Narwal as the target while Nitin Tomar was tackled by Sunil in his first raid.

In the 3rd minute Puneri Paltan could score 1st point courtesy brilliant ankle hold by Ravi when Jasvir was on raid and in the 4th minute Monu scored the first raid point. In the 4th to 8th minute game was closely contested with equal score or 1 point lead by either of the teams.

In the 17th minute Tamil Thalivas inflicted the 1st all-out and took 4 points lead and once again Nitin Tomar failed to impress while GB More valuable with his 10 points in 13 raids. Tamil Thalaivas was leading with 1 point till the half time, 16 - 15.
