In a thrilling encounter Haryana Steelers topples U Mumba

Last five minutes of the game was a thriller and Vikas Kandola turned out to be the hero, who paved way for Haryana Steelers, he successfully played the role of lead raider as well as 2nd raider with his valuable 15 points out of 21 raids. Haryana Steelers defense also looked very organized and did the damage to U Mumba attack.

Monu Goyat started the raid and once again he had a night to forget, could just score 2 points in his 12 raids. Rohit Balian started the raid and got tackled in his first raid, Vikas Kandola and Sidharth Desai scored the first point for their team. Siddharth Desai continued to damage Haryana Steelers and in the 6th minute U Mumba inflicted the first all-out in and took 6 points lead.

Haryana Steelers made a comeback in the next 6th minute courtesy organized defense and Vikas Kandola attack, Haryana Steelers inflicted the first all-out in the 12th minute and score was equal for the first time, 12-12. At the stroke of half time U Mumba manage to get one point lead, 17-16.

Second half stands out to be a close battle, with equal score or one point lead switching from one team to another. In the 31st minute U Mumba took 2 points lead, 23-25, but in the 38th minute Abhishek Singh got  tackled and Naveen scored a bonus in the next raid, and once again score was equal, 29-29.

In the 39th minute Haryana Steelers took one point lead when Siddharth Desai was sent on the bench, in the next raid from U Mumba Rohit Balian managed to equal the score, 30-30. In the last minute Vikas showed his prowess and got 4 touch point and that was the end of the thriller and for U Mumba it was 2nd consecutive defeat at home.
