UP Yoddha marches to playoffs, comprehensive win against Bengal Warriors, 41-25

UP Yoddha marches to playoffs, comprehensive win against Bengal Warriors and now they will play against U Mumba in eliminator 1. Rishank Devadiga started the raid with a bonus point, while Jang Kun Lee got the big fish Prashant Kumar Rai in his first raid. Bengal Warriors took early lead and they were in strong position in the first 4th minute and they reduced the Yoddha's to 3 men on the mat. Turning point of the game in first half was brilliant solo super tackle by Shrikant Jadhav in the 5th minute and they inches closer to Bengal Warriors.

In the 8th minute super tackle led by Jeeva and Narendra leveled the score to, 7-7 and in the 10th minute Rishank Devadiga's successful do-or-die brought UP Yoddha in the lead and they were able to hold the lead till the end. In the 12th minute UP Yoddha inflicted the 1st all-out and took 6 points lead. Bengal Warriors substituted Maninder Singh and UP Yoddha didn't miss the opportnity. Bengal Warriors were trailing by 8 points at the stroke of half time, 19-11.

Second half belonged to UP Yoddha, to their surprise Bengal Warriors came without Surjeet Singh, Ran Singh, Jang Kun Lee, Maninder Singh, Baldev Singh. In the 26th minute UP Yoddha inflicted the 2nd all-out and took 13 points lead, 3rd all-out followed in the 35th minute and Yoddha's led to an easy victory against Bengal Warriros with 41-25 final score on the board.

UP Yoddha when they came on the mat were unbeatable in their last 5 encounters, 4 win and 1 draw, tonight they added one more win and made their way to Playoffs. Rishank Devadiga average raid point against Bengal Warriors was 7 points and he did the job once again with his 9 crucial points. In defense Nitesh once again proved lethal with his 6 tackle points in his 7 tackle attempts.
