How Tamil Thalaivas equalled their score with Patna Pirates on their third encounter

It was a thrilling encounter and Tamil Thalaivas looked to be winning the game with only 23 seconds left in the match, when Pardeep Narwal scored a point to level the match. It was a close encounter from the beginning. Both the captains, Pardeep Narwal and Ajay Thakur scored the first point in their first raid for the team. 

Till the 10th  minute it was a close game with lead switching sides, and in the 11th minute Patna Pirates took slender 1 point lead and inflicted the first all-out in the 15th minute, with 5 points lead, and at the stroke of half time score was 16-14, with lead in favor of Patna Pirates.  

In the second half Tamil Thalaivas made a come-back and inflicted the first all-out in the 22nd minute and took slender 2 points lead. Ajay Thakur was in impeccable form and got a super-10 in the match with 16 raid points. Pardeep Narwal was also in good form with 11 points.

Last 2 minutes of the game were not less than a thriller, with lead switching side every minute and in the last minute with only 23 seconds left Pardeep Narwal got a point for Patna to level the match. Ajay Thakur went for the final raid of game but he could not get a raid point and match ended in a tie. Patna Pirates stay in second position in Zone B table with 46 points from 15 matches. While Tamil Thalaivas also maintain their 4th position with 33 points.
