Prokabaddi Season 6: Day 1 Preview, Patna Pirates vs Tamil Thalaivas & U Mumba vs. Puneri Paltan

On day 1 of the Pro Kabaddi League season 6 the team India captain Ajay Thakur leads Tamil Thalaivas & takes on the Defending and three times Champion Patna Pirates

Patna Pirates led  by Pardeep Narwal in what could be the best match between these two teams given how close their match was last season although Tamil did not have mighty Manjeet Chillar on their side.

Monu Goyat will not play on day 1 and in his place will be Deepak Narwal. Manjeet Chillar, Amit Hoods, C Arun , and Darshan make for a very strong defensive combination.

Can they stop the Dubki King and multiple times Most Valuable Player, and best raider in the vivo Pro Kabaddi League .

The second Match of the day will feature two teams with new Captains but very different stages of their prokabaddi journey. U Mumba has a completely revamped squad while Puneri Paltan have the squad with the most number of players who played for them in season 5.

Girish Maruti Ernake is a PKL team captain for the first . This Maharashtra Derby is the clash of the left corners. Fazel Atrachali is back at U Mumba to help them regain lost glory.

Dropping Anup Kumar and revamping their entire squad was a big move for u Mumba. Replacing Anup and coaches Bhaskaran , Ravi Shetty with the national coach of Iran Gholamabbas will be the revamp of the PKL to watch out for.

CAN Rajesh Mondal get the better of his dear mate of 4 season Dharmaraj Cheralanathan will be a key contest. AbolFazel Maghsoudulu tormented Sandeep Narwal and Ravi Kumar last season when he was with dabang Delhi. Can the Puneri defense keep him under control today?

Big Inaugural day and Kabaddi Adda brings to you all the match updates and insights with Suhail Chadhok. Tune in to #OnTheBall with Suhail Chandhok on Kabaddi Adda.
