With Pro Kabaddi Season 7 auctions scheduled on 7th and 8th April speculations are doing the round on retentions of players by franchise. With all expensive buys Jaipur Pink Panthers retention decision will be painful. Deepak Niwas Hooda can't be retained looking at his price tag of 115 lakhs.
K Selvamani whose performance outside PKl in the last 2 tournaments was impressive, Railways Interzone and Senior Nationals. Its likely Jaipur Pink Panther will retain Ajinkya Ashok Pawar. Another raider Jaipur Pink Panthers may retain is Nitin Rawal and K Selvamani.
Looking at defense, Jaipur Pink Panthers bought Mohit Chillar at 58 lakhs and he disappointed with his performance. Sandeep Dhull in the left corner is one of the likely retention but again he was bought at 66 lakhs in season 6 and with 10-12% increment his retention price will be some-where in the range of 72-75 lakhs which is expensive, hence Jaipur Pink Panthers may choose to RTM him at a cheaper price.
Likely retention in defense is Santhapanaselvam, he was impressive in the 14 matches he played.
