get out

On the final day of the SUPER 6 stage, the first match of the day will see  Parveen & Jasvir Academy take on Narwal Sports Academy. PJA will look to win this by a huge margin to keep their slim hopes of qualifying still alive and hope other results go in their favor as well. For NKSA, who are already out of the next round. Now play for pride and look to bow out on a winning note.

PJA started with five defenders, two all-rounders, and one raider in their starting 7. NKSA decided to go with three defenders, two all-rounders, and two raiders. NKSA won the toss and chose the court, with PJA raiding out first.

Himanshu Virendar went out first to put out an empty raid. Nitin Kumar went out for NKSA and put safe empty raid first. Himanshu capitalized on the defensive mistake to score a multi-point raid. He then followed it with a fantastic super raid to gain a five-point lead. Nitin Kumar scored the bouns point to open his team account, but was tackled down next as they conceded they're first all-out.

PJA lead by 7 points. Sagar Malik opened his account as Himanshu was the lone raider so far. PJA defense was on song as they took Gurmeet out next. PJA sent another new raider Ronak Arya next but failed to score, with the defense scoring a point next to cut some deficit down. Nitin Kumar was trying hard to get his team going but got out again. Sagar scored the 2nd super raid of the game as they lead by 9 points.

NKSA defense was putting out loose tackles, on the other hand, Vinay and Mohit were having a solid game in PJA's defense. Himanshu was taken down by back-to-back super tackle as NKSA defense finally showed some steal and vigor to score points.A third Super tackle and Ronak and Himanshu took down next, they trailed by just 4 points now.

Gurmeet came in, to further cut this lead down but got tangled in PJA defense with Himanshu getting revived. Himanshu came in for the D.O.D raid in the dying stages of the half to score a multi-point raid and the half ended with PJA 27 - 19 NKSA.

2nd half started with Randeep coming out to put an empty raid as they were down to just three players. But Randeep gave away an easy point in the defensive position as they conceded another all-out. PJA lead now by 15 points with still 17 mins to go.

Defense on top of their game

Not having a lead raider was pretty evident as NKSA were struggling while raiding, which in return put more pressure on their defense. NKSA team was working in tandem raiders, and defenders both doing their respective jobs to perfection epecially Ashish Jagat in defense. NKSA soon conceded another all-out as PJA now lead by more than 20 points. NKSA now had an impossible mountain to climb.

NKSA took a time out to plan a final charge. Gurmeet came back to score consecutive points. But Himansu was showing no signs to slow down as he kept scoring the odd point. The defense was chipping in as well, Lakshay Malik got Randeep, Mohit Narwal out to force NKSA conceding the 5th all-out and dashed their hopes of a comeback. The last 4 mins saw PJA finishing the game calmly and professionally as they won by a handsome margin of 25 points.

PJA got the win they needed, as they did their job and will now hope the other result went in their way to go through to the knockouts of the k7 Kabaddi stage up 2021.
