Rahul is a part of the Indian national Kabaddi team as well. Rahul was a member of the team that won the Kabaddi World Cup 2016 and the gold medal-winning 2016 South Asian Games squad. Rahul was also an integral part of the team at the 2018 Kabaddi Masters in Dubai.

He has been spending time in his home town with the CORONA Virus lockdown. In a candid chat with Kabaddi Adda, Rahul told us how he is enjoying his time with the family and abiding by the instructions of the government to not move around. When asked how he is spending his time, Rahul joked that he is currently locked inside the house. However, he says that he has been making sure that he stays home all the time and goes out rarely and that too only to buy essentials.

Telling us about his daily routine, Rahul said that he is working out on his own as there is no practice or group sessions going on. He added that early morning he goes for running in his farms and comes back after finishing his exercises. That is the only work-out he is getting with the given situation. Rahul said that his diet has gone haywire as he has been staying home and eating delicious food made by his mother. Adding to that, Rahul has been trying to eat fresh curd to keep the weight on check.

On asking how he has been spending his whole day, Rahul mentioned that he has his niece and nephews to spend time with. The kids take most of the time and the day passes by playfully. He also said that the children train with him in the evening and are also learning the tricks of Kabaddi. Rahul was delighted to tell that he is happy that he is getting time to spend with his family. He said, "While we are on tour to play tournaments, we miss home a lot. So it's a good thing that I am able to take the time out for my family in the crisis. Although I miss playing Kabaddi, it is also important to spend time with family."
