Nitesh Kumar led UP Yoddha to victory against U Mumba, to faceoff Dabang Delhi KC in eliminator 3

Brilliant first half by UP Yoddha, Rishank Devadiga won the toss and to surprise choose to raid, started with empty raid, while Siddharth Desai got Narender in his first raid. U Mumba were leading in the first 5 minutes. Prashanth Kumar Rai's 2 points raid in the 6th minute was turning point of the game in the first half. He eliminated Rohit Rana and Surender Singh

UP Yoddha managed to keep Siddharth Desai quite in the first half, he was off the mat for 8:49 minutes in the first half. In the 7th minute a brilliant chain tackle was initiated and Siddharth Desai was sent on the bench, while in the next raid, Shrikant was on raid and Darshan Kadian stepped out, in his next raid Shrikant got Fazel Atrachali and UP Yoddha inflicted the first all-out in the 9th minute and took 4 points lead.

UP Yoddha defense was brilliant in the first half and they kept the U Mumba raiders at bay. Nitesh Kumar scored 4 points in the first half and he was supported by Jeeva with his 2 points. UP Yoddha scored 8 tackle points and 6 raid points in the first half, while U Mumba scored 9 raid points and 6 tackle points. UP Yoddha walked into the half time with 3 points cushion, 18-15.

UP Yoddha continued the momentum in the second half and UP Yoddha defense was lethal, once again they defused Siddharth Desai. Nitesh Kumar in the right corner was brilliant and this was one of the best performance by any defender in a crucial match who scored 8 points. Nitesh Kumar was supported by the veteran cover defender Jeeva who also scored high five in 5 tackle attempts. 

U Mumba defenders failed tonight specially the covers, Rohit Rana and Surender Singh. Rohit Rana and Surender Singh threw 3 each unsuccessful tackles. In attack Siddharth Desai was quite on his standards scored only 7 points in his 16 raid attempts and Rohit Baliyan could just score 5 points.

In the second half UP Yoddha were able to hold the lead till the end successfully. In the last 6 minutes U Mumba tried a come-back but the turning point of the game was brilliant super tackle led by Jeeva Kumar in the 34th minute which gave 5 points cushion to UP Yoddha, 29-24. In the 37th minute Siddharth Desai and Rohit Baliyan were sent on the bench and UP Yoddha were in the control of the game. Last nail in the U Mumba's coffin was when Prashanth Kumar Rai got Fazel Atrachali who attempted an advance tackle and failed miserably. At the end UP Yoddha 34-29 final score on the board qualified to the 3rd eliminator and will play against Dabang Delhi KC.
