Patna Pirates fifth consecutive win on the 3rd day of Bengaluru Bulls home leg, bulls 2nd loss at home

Patna Pirates with Pardeep Narwal and their defenders in form register their 5th consecutive game to stand strong at 2nd position of Zone B point table. Pardeep Narwal started the raid with a brilliant running hand touch, while Rohit Kumar went back empty hand. Bengaluru Bulls could score their first point in the 5th minute. Patna Pirates took the game in their control early and inflicted the first all-out in the 11th minute with 11 points lead.

Bengaluru Bulls defense continued to bleed against Patna Pirates attack, Rohit Kumar was the only raid who scored 6 points in the first half, while Pawan was not effective in the first half. Bengaluru Bulls could just score 1 tackle point in the first half against Patna Pirates 5 tackle points. Pardeep Narwal was on fire and contributed 9 points in total 14 raid points in the first half. At the stroke of the half time Bengaluru Bulls were trailing by 12 points, 11-23.

Patna Pirated continued to dominate in the first 10 minutes of the second half, Jawahar Dagar was brilliant through-out the night and gave few big moments in the match with his solo tackles and Bengaluru Bulls staged a comeback in the last 10 minutes, courtesy Rohit's consistency and a better looking defense, as they scored 6 tackles and 13 raid points in the second half. Pawan Sehrawat had another rough night with just 6 points to his name.

While Bengaluru Bulls were silently making a come-back the turning point of the game was super tackle by Patna Pirates in the 37th minute when Rohit was sent on the bench, and once again Bengaluru Bulls were trailing by 9 points. Pawan Sehrawat scored couple of quick points in the last couple of minutes and Bengaluru Bulls inflicted the 1st all-out in the last minute, which was too late against the Patna Pirates lead and Bengaluru Bulls lost 2nd game at home, while Patna Pirates registered their 5th consecutive win with 35-32 final score on the board.
