The first half of the game witnessed Haryana go in with a singular goal of stopping danger man Pawan Sehrawat at all costs and on a crucial do-or-die raid, they got him out as per plan. On the other hand, the rest of Bengaluru was turning defense to offense quickly and gaining some raid points for the team, keeping the contest very close in the first period. Going into the second half, the Bulls were clinging onto a 1 point lead with the score of 17-16.

Coming into the second half, both teams played safe and strategized to get the better of each other. But the Steelers were extra cautious on defense and offense and always ensured to be one step ahead of the Bulls. This neck to neck game ended with a close score of 33-30 with Haryana taking down the defending champs and record their second consecutive win.
