P&J Academy down DNH Foundation to get their first win in Super 6.

Praveen & Jasvir Academy too strong for Deepak Niwas Hooda Foundation as they beat them by 13 points,

Praveen & Jasvir Academy finally registered their first win after being winless in their last 3 encounters. They did dominated the group stage but were struggling in Super 6 Stage and another defeat from here would have ended their hopes of the playoffs. Starting with the first half, DNH foundation started with a positive intent with a touch point and in form player and highest raid scorer of Super 6, Bharat taking point in 2 successive raids. But P&J Academy too had an answer to this as their raiders did scored raid points continuously and first 10 points went in a close battle between Bharat Naresh and Sagar Malik. Then a good tackle from P&J Academy’s defence sent Bharat on the mat from where DNH’s other players weren’t able to hold raiders and gave continue points. 

Initial all-out was inflected by P&J Academy to get a good lead of 8 points. Defence of P&J Academy came together and dominated last 5 minutes of the first half by not giving any point to DNH Foundation’s raiders. First half ended with the score of 19-13.

With the start of the second half, P&J Academy started with a successful tackle to get a hold of Bharat. With no DNH Foundation’s player looking in touch, they extended the lead to 12 points which was immense looking at the situation of DNH Foundation. 2nd all-out was inflected by P&J Academy in the 32nd minute to extend the lead. P&J Academy’s Ashu Rothas who came as a substitution gave an impressing performance in the 2nd half. DNH’s raiders did scored few points in last 5 minutes but back to back super tackles from P&J Academy didn’t allowed them to score an all-out. 

Match ended with the score line 38-25 with a comprehensive win by 13 points for P&J Academy. They finally registered their first win after 3 matches losing streak and opened their account in Super 6 points table. DNH Foundation stands 4th in the points table and will look to win their last game to end up being in top 4.
