Match 1 - Bihar Vs Himachal Pradesh

Reigning champions Himachal Pradesh squared off with Bihar for the opening fixture of Match Day 3. It was a fixture between Group A winners and Group H runners-up. Bihar had finished on top of Group A while HP had to satisfy with the #2 spot in Group H.

Both the sides had entered with immense confidence and positive momentum and it was expected to be a cracking match. However, HP showed why they are the defending champions.

"Evenly contested" would be the wrong way to denote this match as Himachal Pradesh hammered Bihar in an one-sided affair. The first-half saw HP create a massive lead of 22 points with Bihar failing to even reach double figures. 28-6 was the half-time score and HP continued to cruise through Bihar and registered 59-13 win.

Match 2 - Gujarat Vs Punjab

Gujarat and Punjab played the 2nd Round of 16 (Pre-Quarter final match) and the North-Indian outfit aided for the elimination of Gujarat. It was a fixture between Group D runner-up and Group E winners.

Gujarat had finished #2 in Group D while Punjab finished on top of Group E. Punjab had actually started the game on a high note but later crumbled against Punjab's resilience.

Enroute a fantastic super raid by Jersey number 9, Punjab came back and took a first half lead by 20-10. Jersey #9 was on target once again and scored another Super raid while Jersey #7 helped her in keeping Punjab's dominance intact.

And by the end of the 2nd half of 15 minutes, Gujarat despite the efforts of Jersey #2 had fallen back and lost the game by 14 points. Final scoreline was 42-28.
