PKL 10: Will the Bengal Warriors continue with the same playing seven in this match?

The Warriors from Bengal will be taking on the Steelers from Haryana in match 61 of season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 9:00 p.m. IST at the Dome by NSCI, Mumbai. The Bengal Warriors had a great start to their campaign this season, but it got derailed and has left them in a miserable position in the league as of now. They are in the ninth position, struggling for a playoff spot with 22 points from nine matches.

They have won three, lost four, and two matches have ended in a deadlock. For the Bengal Warriors to keep their hopes of playing the knockouts alive, this match is really crucial, and a win would do wonders, whereas a loss will shatter their hopes.

Their predicted starting seven for the upcoming fixture is as follows:

Center: Maninder Singh

Maninder Singh, just like he always does, has been sensational with his raiding and captaincy skills in this season of the PKL. Maninder has 89 raid points in nine matches and is right there among the list of top raiders this season.

Left Cover: Darpan

Darpan was in form at the beginning of the season, but as the season has progressed, his form is seen dipping below. He failed to score any points in the last match and has been a worry for the Bengal Warriors team.

Right Cover: Vaibhav Garje

Vaibhav Garje has also not been very upfront with scoring tackle points, and it has affected the team to a large extent. He has only 14 points in nine matches and was able to score only a couple of tackle points in the last match.

Left Corner: Harsh Lad

After playing Aditya in the left corner position for the first few matches, the Bengal team has now decided to play Harsh Lad in place of him because of Aditya’s non-performance on the mat.

Right Corner: Shubham Shinde

The right corner defender, Shubham Shinde, has been the Bengal Warriors’ best defender this season and the only defender who has scored points for them. He has scored 31 tackle points in nine matches and would like to continue his form in the league.

Left In: Shrikant Jadhav

The left raider Shrikant Jadhav has been a perfect support raider to Maninder Singh. He has always scored points whenever the team has asked and was on song in the previous game, scoring nine points in the match.

Right In: Nitin Kumar

The talented raider Nitin Kumar has been the find of the season for the Bengal Warriors team. He has been a fantastic raider and has been the perfect support for Maninder and Jadhav. Nitin Kumar scored a total of 12 points in the last fixture.

Predicted starting seven of the Bengal Warriors against the Haryana Steelers: Maninder Singh (c), Darpan, Vaibhav Garje, Harsh Lad, Shubham Shinde, Shrikant Jadhav, and Nitin Kumar.

The Bengal Warriors will come as a formidable team into this match and play like champions in order to get those five points.
