Jaipur Pink Panthers has announced Anup Kumar as its captain for PKL season 6, beginning on October 7.

Srinivas Reddy, head coach of Pink Panthers said, “Anup has all the experience to lead a team and has done so successfully at Pro Kabaddi and Kabaddi World cup 2016. We and the management were eyeing Anup during the auctions as he is an ideal leader that a kabaddi team can have.

Anup Kumar was quoted as saying, “We will aim at lifting up the trophy this season. With Mohit Chhillar, Deepak Hooda and others being part of the team, the squad looks perfect with equal amount of strategical experience and young ability.”
