Prokabaddi Season 6, Match 17, Bengal Warriors v Telugu Titans - Player of the day: Maninder Singh (11 raid points)

A supreme effort from Bengal Warriors’ Maninder Singh, who picked up his first ‘Super 10’ of the season decorated the Warriors’ second win of the season in their game against the Telugu Titans at the Motilal Nehru Sports School in Sonipat, Haryana.

In a game that was marred by Rahul Chaudhari’s inefficiency to pick points, Maninder made raiding look like child’s play against a Titans’ defence boasting of the likes of Vishal Bharadwaj, Abozar Mighani and Farhad Milagardhan.

Maninder finished with 11 points from a total of 21 raids and what made his effort remarkable was the fact that he scored more points than the cumulative total of the Titans’ raiders, who combined to pick just 10 points on the day.

Right from the get-go, Maninder was on fire as he kept the Titans’ defenders on their toes and was brought down only on four occasions in his 21 raids, underlining his fantastic raiding prowess in the game.
