PKL 10: Will the Bengal Warriors make any changes to their starting seven against U Mumba?

Bengal Warriors are presently sitting in the second position in the points table in Season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League competition. The Bengal team has been unbeatable and has displayed great kabaddi skills. Bengal Warriors have won three, drawn two, and lost one of their six games so far. They have 21 points and a score difference of 0 points. Their next season 10 match will take place on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. IST at the SDAT Multipurpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai against the formidable U Mumba side that has a great defensive unit.

1. Center: Maninder Singh

Maninder Singh, who finished the previous season with 238 raid points, got off to a strong start this year with a super 10 and an amazing performance in the first game. Maninder has done exceptionally well this season, accumulating 61 raid points yet. He is now ranked third among the top raiders this year.

2. Left Cover: Darpan

Darpan, who was unable to play in his team's first game of the season, returned for the second game and performed admirably. Darpan had only three tackle points in the previous game.

3. Right Cover: Vaibhav Garje

Vaibhav Garje, who had previously played for the Bengal Warriors, was in good shape for the first game. Out of the four tackles attempted, he managed to rack up two tackle points. Vaibhav is now out of form, having failed to register any tackle points in the last two games, which is a source of concern for the team.

4. Left Corner: Aditya S.

Aditya S. has been far from his best this season. His performances have been subpar, which is troubling. Aditya has been given numerous opportunities this season but has failed to deliver. The Bengals would like to continue to believe in this talented defender.

5. Right Corner: Shubham Shinde

Shubham Shinde, his team's top defender who had four tackle points in the first match, was unable to add to his total in the second meeting. Although, in the last match, he picked up form again scoring four crucial tackle points for the team. Bengal spent a lot of money on defenders at the auction. Shubham Shinde was one of the well-known personalities they purchased, and they paid INR 32.25 lakh for his services.

6. Left In: Shrikant Jadhav

Shrikant Jadhav completely shredded the Jaipur defense in the second game, taking seven points overall after a shaky start and three raid points in the first. Jadhav had returned to form in the previous match against the U.P. Yoddhas, scoring six raid points.

7. Right In: Nitin Kumar

Nitin Kumar began the second game on the mat for the Bengal squad. Nitin Kumar has complimented Maninder admirably and is also scoring points. Nitin scored ten raid points in the previous game.

Probable starting 7 of the Bengal Warriors against the U Mumba: Maninder Singh (c), Darpan, Vaibhav Garje, Aditya S, Shubham Shinde, Shrikant Jadhav, and Nitin Kumar. The Bengal Warriors played out a draw in the last game but would like to come back to winning ways and go to the top of the points table soon.
