Surender Nada ruled out of PKL7 - Big Blow for Kabaddi!

Left corner and ankle hold master Surender Nada has been ruled out of PKL7. In the first match of PKL6, Nada was injured during a tackle, resulting in a fracture to his left hand. The doctors have declared Nada unfit for the upcoming edition of PKL, suspiciously declared on the day the season begins.

In the PKL7 auctions, Patna Pirates got into bidding war with Puneri Paltan, led by coach Anup Kumar, to win the bid for Surender Nada at a whopping 77Lakhs. Soon after in a surprising move Patna bought Jaideep, who has been holding the left fort for last 2 seasons.

Giving an update on Nada's health, a source close to IANS revealed that, "Surender has been deemed unfit by an expert team of doctors and he is still to recover fully from his injury that he sustained last season. We took multiple opinions, but unfortunately all the experts have advised him to stay off the mat."

It is not clear whether Patna Pirates is facing a setback or is relieved due to Nada's exit. Patna was facing a dearth of raiders and had one left corner too many! They have announced that Monu (Puneri Paltan, PKL5-6) will replace the injured left corner defender in the upcoming season.
