After 2 back to back defeats U Mumba finishes in style against UP Yoddha

On the first day of Interzone battle 2nd match was a close one in the first half but in the second half U Mumba dominated and outplayed UP Yoddha. Darshan Kadian started with an empty raid, while Prashant Kumar Rai scored first point for UP Yoddha, and Siddharth Desai scored the first point for U Mumba.

First half was a close encounter as the score was twice equal in the 6th and 9th minute and UP Yoddha took the lead in 10th minute courtesy super tackle by Narender and UP Yoddha continued to show its defensive might in the 12th and 15th minute with 2 super tackles by Jeeva and Sachin one each, but UP Yoddha could not continue the momentum against U Mumba attack and were all-out in the 20th minute, and U Mumba walked into the half time with one point lead, 15-14.

In the second half U Mumba defense and attack looked very organized, continued the momentum and inflicted the first 2nd all-out in the 28th minute, and took massive 10 points lead. Surender Singh was exceptional with his 7 tackle points in 10 tackle attempts and was supported by mighty Fazel with his brilliant 6 tackle points in 5 tackle attempts and completed his 200 tackle points in his PKL career.

The last nail in UP Yoddha's coffin was 6 point raid by Darshan Kadian which wiped out UP Yodha which lead to the 3rd all-out and UP Yoddha were trailing by 15 points which further increased to 17 and U Mumba registered an easy victory, 24-41. UP Yoddha failed to deliver once again, it was all-rounder Sachin Kumar and Narender who happens to be highest scorer from UP Yoddha side with their 5 points each.
