Bengal Warriors hope to playoffs alive, Tamil Thalaivas knocked-out of the playoffs race

With this win Bengal Warriors hope to playoffs is alive and they are yet to play their home-leg, Tamil Thalaivas playing their 19th game of prokabaddi season 6 are knocked-out of the playoffs race. It was a low scoring first half where Thalaivas were leading in the first 10 minutes. 

In the 15th minute, Sukesh was sent on the bench and first time scored was leveled at 8 each. In the 18th minute Ajay Thakur scored a point in a do-or-die raid, Tamil Thalaivas took slender one point lead. Bengal Warriors were trailing by 1 point at the stroke of half time, 11-10.

In the second half Tamil Thalaivas were holding the lead in the first 5 minutes, it was Bhupender Singh's 4 points super raid which was the first turning point of the game and gave Tamil Thalaivas 3 points cushion. Ran Singh's 2 points raid in the 37th minute completely tilted the game in favor of Bengal Warriros, as only one man was left on the mat and Warriros inflicted the first all-out in the 38th minute of the game. Bengal Warriors took a huge 7 points lead which led to a comfortable win with 28-21 final score on board.

Surjeet Singh was holding the forte in defense with his brilliant 100% strike rate, he scored 6 tackle points. Maninder Singh scored important 7 points out of his 18 raid attempts, Tamil Thalaivas managed to keep him off the mat for more than 12 minutes. It was Bhupender Singh with his 5 raid points in 4 raid attempts who at first tilted the game in favor of Bengal Warriors, followed by Ran Singh with his 3 raid points in 2 raid attempts.
