Match Preview: Out of form Panthers desperately looking for a win
Jaipur have had a strange season of 2nd half - 6 wins in first 7 games, every part of their team firing, all players looking in good form and then & 5 losses in their last 6 games, mainly linked to their corner defenders misfiring. This string of defeats has now pushed them out of the top 6 in the table, and they desperately need a win to get some wind back in their sail. But they are up against the form team of the tournament currently. Steelers are coming in on the back of 5 continuous wins and 8 wins in the last 9 games. With Vikash Khandola carrying them to victory in all these games. Doesn't look like the Jaipur express can stall Vikas Kandola show. But if any defense can, the inform version of the Panthers defense should be the leaders of the pack. Steelers biggest positive has been their support raiders. Prashant Rai, Vinay, and Naveen. Thus Vikash Khandola can go all out and not worry about getting revived. Anna is marshaling this squad spectacularly and there is a thing or two the Panthers leadership can learn to be able to sustain a fast start and be consistent in performances.
