Haryana Steelers kicks off their home leg in style, defeats Gujarat Fortunegiants

Haryana Steelers who suffered a major blow when their captain Surender Nada was injured with a broken elbow, but it was the KNIGHT Monu Goyat who took the charge with young left corner defender Naveen Bajaj who replaced Surender Nada.

In Pro Kabaddi season 5, Haryana Steelers manage to register two wins while one match ended in a tie against Gujarat Fortunegiants while in the home leg opener Monu Goyat led Haryana Steelers unflinching attitude helped them register their first win of the season 6, where Haryana Steelers defenders made a statement on the mat "WE ARE STEELERS". Kuldeep's brilliance in the left corner was a delight to watch.

It was Sachin who started raiding from Gujarat Fortunegiants and was tackled in the first raid while Monu Goyat in his first raid scored a point. It was the brilliant attack and defense in the first 6 minutes that Haryana inflicted the 1st all-out in the 6th minute of the game.

Gujarat Fortunegiants defense didn't look organize as Ruturaj in the right and Kalai Arasan in the left were throwing frequent errors while Kuldeep Singh in the left corner made his presence felt in less than 10 minutes as he scored 3 successful tackle points in the first 8 minutes of the game and Haryana scored 7 tackle points with the lead in the first half with half time score of 20 - 13.

It was Prapanjan with his 9 raid points in 15 raid and Sachin with his 8 raid points in 14 raids with support of captain Sunil in the defense who scored a high five in his 7 tackles, who brought the score difference to 7, while rest of the defense didn't perform and Haryana registered an easy win with a final score of 32 - 25.
