The first half of the match was completely controlled by the defensive unit of Haryana Steelers. Vikas Kandola and Prashanth Kumar Rai showed a terrific display of their games scoring 4 and 3 raid points respectively. In contrast to this, the defense and raiding department of Yoddhas was not up to the mark with 6 unsuccessful tackles and only 9 raid points. Defense of Haryana scored twice as many tackle points as UP Yoddhas, which gave them a cushion of 4 points going into the second half.

It was a seesaw battle in the second half with both teams refusing to back down.

The counterattack by defensive juggernaut Sunil and raiding sensation Vikas Kandola ensured a brilliant comeback by Haryana Steelers thereby inflicting an All-Out on the Yoddhas in the dying minutes of the match.

Haryana Steelers kept their nerves defeating the UP Yoddhas 36-33 and walked away with their third consecutive victory this season. Vikas Kandola was the star performer of the match with 12 raid points along with his teammate Sunil who grabbed 6 tackle points himself.
