Haryana Steelers, who always been a strong team in PKL history, this year also comes up with a strong team to face their opponents. They retained Vikas Kandola ahead of auction and had 3.2 crore rupees in their purse. They also had Vinay who was one of the promising NYP in PKL.

In the foreign category Haryana Steelers bagged two Iranian players Hamid Mirzaei Nader and Mohammad Esmaeil Maghsodlou at cheap price. Rohit Gulia was one of their expensive pick for the season at 83 Lakhs. They also bought all rounder Brijendra Singh Chaudhary at 55 Lakhs.

Haryana Steelers PKL 8 Squad

Haryana steelers have one of the strongest attack department this season. The Indian Railways combo Vikas Kandola and Rohit Gulia seems to be very strong and they have Vinay as support raider. They also have Brijendra Singh Choudhary who shown good performance in Senior Nationals.

In defence department, they have Surender Nada, Chand Singh and Brijendra Singh Choudhary. We saw Brijender Singh Choudhary became succesful in stopping Pawan Sehrawat several times in Nationals. The corner combinations looks great for Haryana Steelers. But the covers are not great for them. Rajesh Narwal and Vikas Jaglan who are the covers for Haryana, their performance doesn't seem consistent.

Overall Haryana Steelers looks like a great team and they have a strong upper hand with in the season. Apart from the players we mentioned, they might have signed contract with NYP players outside auction. The details of those players are not released yet. We might get to see some promising young talents with the team this season.
