Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 to Kick Start from 22nd December in Bengaluru!

Kabaddi fans all over the country woke up to good news today as Mashal Sports announced the much-awaited start date of the Pro Kabaddi League 2021. The news was announced through the Pro Kabaddi official Instagram handle earlier today.

The PKL Season 8 is all set to kick-start on the 22nd of December 2021 in Bengaluru. Unlike the previous seasons where teams traveled to different venues, this time the League will be played at a single venue due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The PKL will be back after a gap of 2 years and 2 months which will be a great refresher to all the fans of this sport.

Mashal Sports- the League organizers, in a statement, announced that they will ensure that all the safety measures pertaining to the Covid-19 pandemic will be strictly followed along with all the Government mandated guidelines that are set. The Pro Kabaddi Season 8 will be conducted in a bio-bubble and no spectators will be allowed keeping in mind the current situation in the world. The fans can enjoy the PKL Season 8 from the comfort of their homes.

Last Month saw the Pro Kabaddi Season 8 Auctions go ahead and teams all are ready for the Panga to begin. The preparations for season 8 are underway as most teams have already begun their pre-season camp to get ready for the return of the Pro Kabaddi League.

The Fixtures of the Pro Kabaddi League 2021 will be announced by the League in the coming days. The 2nd most watched sporting league in the country will also mark the return of professional indoor contact sport in India after a gap of 2+ years.
