The upcoming edition of Pro Kabaddi League 2023, is all set to start from 2nd December 2023, where the league stage schedule has been announced,  it will be conducted across distinct legs and finally the last match of the league stage will be announced on 21st November 2024. 

It will begun from Ahmedabad will continue across distinct legs and putting across some numbers from the inaugural editions the viewership was close to 43.5 Crore(435 million) in inaugural PKL edition. 

When you compare it to retrospect to IPL(Indian Premier League) the viewership of first edition was close to 56(560 million) since then the numbers have been humungous rise. 

 

PKL Viewership has seen an impeccable rise where the marginal rise in numbers across distinct states which is close to 3% increase in Andhra Pradesh and Telegana too has seen steady rise of close to 3%. 
Karnataka saw humungous rise of 8% over the years when we compare it to other states be it Maharastra and Tamil Nadu seen an impeccable rise of 18% in terms of reach. 

The Viewership jump across the states of Maharastra and Rajasthan, was immense to 80%. 

When we see the start of this tournament in 2014, It was 8 teams tournament over the years the numbers have been significantly rise to 12 teams. 

BARC  predicted that 35% surplus rise in viewership came from Karanataka, Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh. 

The viewership of Premier Tournament have been broadcasted in distinct languages- Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. 

The staggering number of PKL season 2 was close to 64(640 million) and over the years numbers have been in exponential growth. 

The last edition number have been 966 million and the next edition have been expected to close 1 billion. 

PKL Viewership has been picked based on variety of reasons which include- scalability, audience, distinct locations, broadcasting in distinct languages, official stakeholders involvement, brand integration and brand engagement and involvement in premier event. 

PKL Growth is directly proportional (exponentially proportional) to growth of Kabaddi in India where Indian kabaddi players have earned the name and fame and top overseas players who are making themselves and performing at the top most spot.

Pro Kabaddi League viewership will peak, with time.     

The match will be broadcasted on Star Sports and streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar app and the engagement will peak with time due to distinct policies introduced by stakeholders to make this game extremely successful and popular at the same time.
