Complete Performance Analysis of Bengaluru Bulls in the PKL Season 10

The season 6 champions and the season 2 runners-up, the Bengaluru Bulls, have had the worst possible start to their campaign in season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League. The franchise has lost its first three consecutive matches and is in tenth place in the points table with just three points and a negative point difference of 12. The only positive thing for them among these losses is that they have lost all the matches closely, which means they have been able to get a point each for every match.

After the conclusion of the first leg of the Pro Kabaddi League season 10, which was played in Gujarat, the second leg began with the Bulls as the home team. The fourth match they will be playing in the tournament will be against the Haryana Steelers on December 9, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. IST at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru.

The first match that the Bengaluru Bulls played this season was against the Gujarat Giants, which the Bulls lost by a scoreline of 34-31. The match was a complete team performance for the franchise, as all the players stepped up and performed their part, but the team fell just short of a victory. Bharat was the team’s star player in the match, collecting a total of seven raid points, whereas Aman and Vishal both managed to get three tackle points each.

The Bengaluru Bulls played their second match of the league against the mighty Bengal Warriors, where they faced a defeat by just two points and a scoreline of 32-30. All the raiders stepped up in this match for the team, but the defenders let them down, and hence, the Bulls faced another loss. Bharat was once again the lead raider with six points, whereas Neeraj Narwhal gathered three raid points and two tackle points. Apart from Vishal, who scored four tackle points, no other defender performed up to the mark, and the result was a loss.

In their third match, the Bulls were up against the Dabang Delhi team, who were also coming off a loss. The Bengaluru Bulls lost this match by a margin of seven points, as the Delhi players stayed ahead of the game from the beginning and maintained their lead. Bharat once again played his part and showed why the team management has invested so much in him. He scored 12 raid points and got support from Sushil and Ankit in the raiding department, but the defence once again let the team down.

After three matches, Bharat has been the team’s best raider with 23 raid points and has shown his skills in every match. The experienced and veteran defenders, such as Surjeet Singh and Saurabh Nandal, have not picked up form yet, but they will be among the points very soon. The coach should also look at other raiders, such as Sushil and Ankit, to be the support raiders for Bharat, as they have been performing consistently.

We expect the Bulls to make a roaring comeback starting their next league match, as the players are determined and their coach, Randhir Singh Sehrawat, is a kabaddi mastermind.
