Dabang Delhi Part Ways With Rambir Singh Khokhar, Appoints Joginder Narwal as New Head Coach

Dabang Delhi KC has surprised all Kabaddi fans with their recent announcement. In a recent development, the Delhi-based Kabaddi franchise decided to bid farewell to head coach Rambir Singh Khokhar. Meanwhile, they have also announced Joginder Narwal as the team's new head coach ahead of the Pro Kabaddi League season 11.

Rambir Singh Khokhar’s guidance was instrumental in Dabang Delhi’s impressive run in PKL season 10. Under his leadership, Delhi secured a spot in the playoff. Notably, during the league stage they have 13 wins, 3 ties and 6 losses under their name. They were placed 3rd in the points table with 79 points. However, things didn’t go according to the plan for Dabang as they fell short in the Eliminator against Patna Pirates.

Rambir Khokhar took the coaching helm in Pro Kabaddi season 10, replacing Krishan Kumar Hooda. In his coaching tenure at Dabang Delhi, Khokhar nurtured several young talents in the team. One of the notable performers was Ashu Malik. Ashu scored an impressive 276 raid points and won the ‘Best Raider of the Season’ award.

Head coach Rambir played an important role in making Ashu Malik the best raider. After the injury of Dabang Delhi’s main raider and captain Naveen Kumar, despite having experienced players in the team Khokhar passed the baton to young talent Ashu Malik. Khokhar entrusted Ashu with the captaincy and lead the team’s offense and the young prodigy didn’t let him down.

In addition to Ashu Malik, defender Yogesh made a remarkable debut under the guidance of coach Rambir Khokhar. Yogesh accumulated 74 tackle points. He also scored 6 ‘Super Tackle’ and 5 ‘High 5s’. This fantastic performance in PKL 10 earned him a well deserved title of the ‘best emerging player’ of the season.

Another significant young talent nourished by Rambir’s brilliant strategic acumen was defender Ashish. Although he didn’t win any title this season, however, played an important role in taking his team to the playoffs. He scored 48 tackle points with 2 ‘Super Tackle’ and 4 ‘High 5s’.

Now the coaching baton has been passed to Joginder Narwal. Joginder was part of Dabang Delhi’s coaching team in PKL season 10. He was the assistant coach of the team and did well in guiding players to unlock their full potential. As a familiar face of the Dabang Delhi KC setup and having a wealth of experience, Joginder Narwal is bound to impress everyone with his strategies in the upcoming Pro Kabaddi League season 11.
